Hike Mont des Morios (Charlevoix)

Leave montreal no later than noon friday with first stop at rue Principale in Saint-Aimé-des-Lacs over 9 km, to the Lac Brulé convenience store to obtain your access right (10.00$). Follow the gravel forest road for 14 km and indications for the Mont des Morios. The parking lot is located at Lac Boudreault. We will sleep there in our tent at the camping site by the lake.
Saturday, after breakfast, we’ll start our hike by going up to Morios peak and then we will head to grand castor peak for the night.
Sunday after breakfast we will finish the loop and go back yo our parking lot and head back to Montreal.
You’re responsible for bringing the right gear for this 2 days hike (25.0 kn total with more than 600 m elevation gain) with sufficient food (food for an extra day recommended), water and pills or filtration system to treat your water. Bring a raincoat and waterproof pants for rain. Lots of smiles to bring too!
You are responsible for your safety and well-being and it is up to you to judge whether you are fit and able to do this demanding hike of 25.00 km with more than 600.00 m of elevation.
