Meet up for fun and learning

Informal social evenings are arranged in various locations around Montreal almost every month. This is a great way for members to keep in touch with on­going activities, make presentations, and to welcome and meet new or potential members to the club with similar interests. So don’t be shy, we’d love to see you!

Winterfest

The WinterFest is our weekend to celebrate our cold season and winter sports. The weekend is at Keene Farm in February and more than 50 members participating. Several activities are planned (cross country skiing, ice climbing, snowshoeing and winter camping clinic). A community meal prepared for you in our hut.

Each year, the club organizes a dinner to the sugar shack … usually preceded by an cross-country skiing or hiking outing!

New Members Weekend

The New Members Weekend is not just for new members! Rather it’s a weekend to introduce the club to new members through various activities (climbing , hiking, etc) . For members, it’s a week­end to meet before the summer! It is normally held on the second Saturday in June and we have more than 60 members each year! BBQ grills available for dinner , campfire songs and stories . What a great way to begin the summer!

Annual BBQ

The annual Keene Farm BBQ is our signature event, with about more than 100 members, family and friends attending. It is typically held on the third Saturday of September starting around 4:00PM. It is a relaxed day, and a joint volunteer effort to make a marvelous meal, with delectable desserts, bountiful beverages, campfire songs and stories. What better way to spend an early fall evening!

Annual General Metting

Our annual Annual General Meeting is that and much more, with a happy hour and a great slide show presentation. The business side of the meeting includes reports from the executive and a ringing in of the new executive for the upcoming year.
