How to add an event to the calendar

The Montreal Section site is configured as bilingual (French & English)

You must create any new events in French first and translate it in English after.
If there is no translation in English for an event, the French version will appear on the English website

click on : Add Event

Fill the Title and important informations

Select

  • start date & time and end date & time
  • select frequency if not unique (Weekly, Monthly)
  • the venue of the event
  • the organizer (s)
  • the event web site if available

Select

  • level of difficulty
  • duration in days
  • add other important information if required

Determine the cost in Canadian $ if free 0 $ leave it empty

Select the event category (right of your screen)

Informations sur l’inscription à votre évènement

  • Activate or deactivate the regisitration
  • Select the following registration form De Base + Covoiturage
  • Do not remove the tick mark for Utilisateurs connectée uniquement et Limiter les inscriptions
  • Change if needed the number of participants
  • The registration end by default 2 days prior to the event (change if needed)
  • The registration open immediately after the registration ids posted by default ( change if needed)

 

 

the basic information is now completed. You can now publish the event’ (right of your screen)
